Nico is a director, cinematographer and editor based in the Greater New York City area, born and raised in France. He moved to the US in 2013 and landed in San Diego, California, where he developed a prolific network of clients and collaborators. In 2020, he relocated to Union, New Jersey, an ideal location that gives him access to new opportunities in the Greater New York City area, while working remotely as an editor for his SoCal clients.
Nico has been passionate with Cinema, Music and Video since he was 14, that along with riding his skateboard in the city and practicing his Dj techniques on two turntables with US 90s rap records. He studied Arts and Cinema at the University of Montpellier; and received an extensive training in writing, directing, filming and editing at the Film School of Marseille, South of France.
He loves being involved in the creative process, from start to finish. Filming and editing what he captured is his first passion; and he is always excited to work with clients and collaborators to meet and surpass their expectations.
Most of his creative work in his portfolio is in the form of music videos; a field in which he was invested for about 8 years prior to moving to America. This is where Nico had the chance to create original content and develop his creativity. A huge experience which he learned and is still benefitting from; and that he now infuses in several areas of his filmmaking, when the projects require it.
Moments after he arrived in the US, he had the chance to meet and work with great producers and directors; building a singular and strong experience, both on set as a director and cinematographer, and in the editing room.
For the last 8 years, Nico worked on a colorful variety of projects; whether it be commercials for national TV broadcast, branding content, web series, documentary films, interviews, artists portraits, lifestyle or corporate.
